The function described in this document is only available as part of an add-on package. Please contact your Account Manager for further information.

The Aggregation Inspector provides an overview of all aggregation sessions in a solution. The main elements of the Aggregation Inspector are the Aggregation Tab and Inspect Tab. The Aggregation Inspector helps you visualise, manage and troubleshoot the sessions containing your aggregated data. Aggregation sessions for all streams containing the Data Aggregator function are displayed on the Aggregation Table.

After entering a solution, select the Aggregation tab next to the Streams and Stream Groups tabs. The Aggregation Table displays an overview of all Aggregation sessions currently in your solution. All streams and their respective Data Aggregator functions are listed in the overview along with information on the number of active sessions in the current solution, the oldest session, the most recent session and the option to clear the session.

The Aggregation table only contains streams that have been executed by

Product name
. For more information on aggregation storage and when and why it is created, refer to the note in Edit Timeout and Clear.

Edit Timeout

, Clear & Clear all

If you select one or more streams, you will see the following options Edit timeout and Clear above the Overview widgetsinstead of Display options and refresh Data:

  • Edit timeout: Click to set a time and date for the session(s) data to be flushed out to the next function whenever the stream is run again. You can set the timeout for more than one session at the same time.
  • Clear: Click to clear all Aggregation aggregation sessions for the selected stream(s). This will also remove all stored sessions from the Aggregation Table in the Inspect tab of that Data Aggregator function(s).

  • Clear all: Click to clear the aggregation sessions of all streams in the Aggregation table.

Every Data Aggregator function in a stream is assigned an aggregation storage. Whenever the stream is run, an aggregation storage for that Data Aggregator is created and populated with aggregated session data. Clicking Clear or Clear All (after selecting the stream(s)) in the Aggregation table removes all data from the respective aggregation storage but does not delete the storage itself.

To delete the aggregation storage for a stream, you must either:

    • Delete the Data Aggregator function or,
    • Delete the stream or,
    • Delete the solution

The Inspect tab of the Data Aggregator function is accessible only if the stream has been executed at least once by
